Dear Swimmers and Parents,
Great job to everyone who swam at the Longhorn Aquatics meet this last weekend! We had several best times and several
event winners. Congrats everybody! If you are interested in seeing your swimmers times, % improvement, rate of progression,
etc., let me know and I can email you spreadsheet showing you how they are doing.
Please keep in mind, swim meets are the best way to track progress. Technique and hard work are two major components we
encourage here at Lone Star, and your swimmer can really see it pay off when they compete. Parents have until Sunday to
submit entries for the Texas Gold and Longhorn Aquatics meets in December. There are relays at the Longhorn meet and the
coaches would like to encourage everyone to sign up for this meet.
If you are unsure on what your child should swim, please contact your immediate coach. If you cannot contact them, please
contact me. Entries will not be sent out without a confirmation sent to you first.
Last but not least, we will not be having practice on Thanksgiving Day. Friday, November 27th - Practice end @ 6:00pm.
(6:30pm swimmers please come early). We will resume our regularly scheduled practices on Monday, November 30th.
