Dear Swimmers and Parents,
This past weekend, several Lone Star swimmers represented our program at the University of Texas Fall Kickoff. The
performances were exceptional and the improvement was unbelievable. With a group of 44 swimmers, Lone Star continued to
show why we are the team to beat.
A big congrats goes to Kyler Wood and Madison Bowman, who each won 3 events a piece. Kyler had the performance of the meet
as he won the 100 breast by defeating one of last years State Finalist and qualifying for Sectionals by over 3 seconds!!
Great job guys!!
Another congrats goes out to Jake Moser, Kirby Seibert, Marisa Galvan, Anthony Gonzales, Joseph Gonzales, Matt Marcotte,
Thomas Marcotte, Meredith Manry, Ben Leach, Mauro Molina, Caleb Randall, and Sam Moser for all qualifying for South Texas
Champs swim meet. Great work!!
Last but not least, congrats to Gabe Wheeler and Brenden Leach for both making their 2nd Sectional cut in the 200 breast.
Both qualified by more than .5 of a second!!!
To everyone else who swam, your coaches are proud of you and are entirely impressed with your commitment and hard
work!! Keep it up!!
