Coach Adam Depmore

Coach Adam Coach Adam is the Head coach and directs the training of all the swimming groups for Lone Star. An avid fitness enthusiast, Adam's training philosophy has always been Quality over Quantity.

Adam began coaching as soon as he graduated High school from Round Rock in '01. He went on to become the Head coach of Lone Star Aquatics San Marcos where he studied Exercise and Sports Science and contracted through the Air Force where he became an Officer.

While in the service, Adam founded a masters swim team and trained service members on swim instruction and physical fitness. With an Excellent score on all of his fitness tests, Adam tested members on VO2 max and served as the 392nnd Thor Warriors Physical Training Leader (PTL). Adam returned to Round Rock with a vast knowledge of Exercise Physiology and became the Head coach of Lone Star North.

Since Adam has coached, Lone Star has had numerous swimmers qualify for STAGS all the way up to the National level. Since becoming Head Coach, Lone Star has had several swimmers sign with top Division 1 colleges such as UT and Texas A&M.

Outside the pool, Adam spends time as a personal trainer where he practices with medicine balls, kettlebells, free weights, and climbing ropes.
