High School UIL State Champs, Good Luck LSAC Swimmers!

Dear Parents and Swimmers:

This weekend, several Lone Star swimmers will represent at the UIL State Championship meet at the University of Texas. Last year, Lone Star swimmers walked away with two, 1st place finishes in the 200 Medley Relay and the 100 Breaststroke, along with several finalist. This year, we are looking to match last years performance as we send even more swimmers to State. Here is what to look for:

Individual:
Kerrington Hill 50 free and 100 free. Look for something big as Kerrington, Round Rock High, look for him to go all-out.

Relays:
Kirby Seibert 200 free relay. Kirby, McNeil, will swim at her first State meet and has already posted a 25.0 relay split. Look to see her go for it as she comes off a very fast Regional meet.

Zane Pleuthner 200 free relay and 400 free relay. Zane, Westwood, is one of Westwood fastest sprinters and is currently seeded 3rd in the 400 free relay. Look for a fast time as first place is just over a second ahead.

Round Rock High 200 free relay. Gabe Wheeler, Sidney Deloach, Phillip Welch, Kerrington Hill, and Brenden Leach 200 free relay

Last year, Brenden and Kerrington paired up with former Lone Star swimmers, Dax Hill (University of Texas) and Wes Wheeler (Texas A&M), to win the 200 medley relay. This year, the 200 free relay looks to throw down as Gabe Wheeler, Sidney Deloach and Phillip Welch come up in the ranks.

Prelims begin at 4:40p.m. Friday, Feb. 26
Finals begin at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27
Student tickets are $5 (bring shool ID)
Adults are $10 per session.
The ticket window will open one hour prior to the start of each session.

Parking is not allowed in the lot adjacent to the pool without a permit. Garage parking is $10 per vehicle and some free street parking is available. See meet information here.

Good luck guys!!!
