Dear Lone Star Family,
This past weekend our team attended the Junior Olympics swim meet down in San Antonio.
In all the years in my coaching career I am hard pressed to find another meet with better results.
Our team finished with 90% best times across the board. Everone who participated swam very fast
and I could not have been more happy with how the kids performed. This will go down as one of
the most outstanding meets Lone Star has ever participated in. I am so proud of everyone who
participated this weekend! Everyone did phenomenal and I am so overwhelmed with pride to say that
I have the honor of coaching this wonderful group of kids. On multiple occasions, I had coaches
from other teams come up and comment on how well our team swam. We raised some eyebrows this
weekend and we will continue to impress and bring home medals and ribbons as this next season
begins. All of your hard work in the pool came to fruition this weekend and everyone was able to
see the results of our committed swimmers. Congratulations to Lone Star swimmers on a truly amazing
meet and one that I will never forget!!!!! Thank you.
